Vintage Ideas

I love the ideas from these Vintage clippings. (below) Both of these are great for families. The brown kitchen has a small nook. It looks like a compact seating arrangement for kids to do homework while Mom or Dad make dinner. It would also be a good spot to look at cookbooks, or for a friend to sit and chat while someone works in the kitchen. In a tight space that doesn't have room for an island, this would be a nice idea.
The yellow kitchen has another great multi use space. The baby can be safe, and close by. (Of course you would need an up-to-date baby gate for the baby to be safe...) How cool would it be to have a fold down scrapbooking table? Homework desk? or Sewing Table?
